How to scale Facebook ads

Spend caps and bans are infrastructure problems, not ad problems. The agency-account playbook to push volume safely.

Scaling Facebook ads past a few thousand a day is rarely a creative problem – it’s an account infrastructure problem. Below is the playbook our clients use to push volume without tripping bans.

1. Start on the right account

Aged, whitelisted agency accounts carry trust a fresh Business Manager simply doesn’t have. That trust is what lets you raise budgets quickly without review flags.

2. Warm before you widen

  • Days 1–3: launch at a stable budget, let delivery settle and the pixel learn.
  • Days 4–7: scale proven ad sets 20–30% per day – no large overnight jumps.
  • Week 2+: duplicate winners into a second account to add capacity.

The ceiling isn’t your campaign. It’s the account’s trust level and the platform’s exposure to a single advertiser.

3. Build in redundancy

Run multiple accounts so a single flag never stalls spend. Keep top-ups instant and mirror your pixel setup across accounts.

Bottom line

Creative wins auctions; infrastructure wins quarters. Solve the account layer first and your only ceiling becomes what the funnel can absorb.
